Layout
On
the ground floor there is an entrance hall with a door leading to the
laundry room and downstairs lavatory. Stairs from the hall lead up to
a short landing with doors to the lounge/dining room and kitchen. A
second flight of stairs take you up from the first-floor landing to
the second-floor, where there are two bedrooms, one double, one twin,
and the shower room with lavatory basin and a large corner shower cubicle.
The house has good-quality fitted carpets in the lounge/dining room,
bedrooms, stairs and landings. The other areas have vinyl flooring.
The windows all have modern double glazing and the house is centrally
heated with radiators. In colder weather, we will always ensure that
the house is warm for your arrival. A powerful modern gas combi-boiler
provides copious, continuous hot water.

For
your entertainment, we provide a selection of DVDs, CDs and books to
cover a wide variety of tastes.
Although the house has an integral garage, this is not available for
guests, but car parking for one vehicle is available immediately in
front of the garage.
Lounge/Dining
room
This provides comfortable lounge seating for four people, together with
a dining table, with four chairs. There are two
windows,
one of which provides spectacular views up the coast to Troon. There
is colour television, with Freeview digital box and also an audio system
with radio, CD player and DVD player. There is a pay-phone on the landing,
outside the lounge.
Kitchen
The kitchen has an electric cooker with a main oven, a secondary oven/grill
and four hot plates. There is also a refrigerator, with freezing compartment,
dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster and a full supply of pans, cooking
tools, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Bedrooms
The bedrooms (one double and one twin) have modern beds, furnished with
good quality bed linen. The double bedroom has a small dressing room
with dressing table, mirror and wardrobe.
Shower Room
The modern shower room is fitted with a large corner shower cabinet
having an abundant supply of hot water supplied via a mixer which controls
the temperature. There is also an extractor fan, a large washbasin,
lavatory and bathroom cabinet.
Laundry Room
The laundry room on the ground floor has a modern Hotpoint washing machine
with integral tumble dryer.
Downstairs Lavatory
This is attached to the Utility Room and has a washbasin and extractor
fan

house is fitted with smoke detectors. Fire extinguisher, fire blanket
and first aid kit are also provided. Full instructions for all equipment
are provided, as well as safety information for your protection.
Your
Arrival
On
your arrival, you will be met by our local representative, who will
show you around the house and answer any questions you might have
about the facilities or the local area. She will give you a set of
keys and ensure that you have everything you need for a comfortable
and enjoyable stay. If the weather is cool, she will also ensure that
the house is warm for your arrival.
Local
Facilities in Prestwick
The
house is only a ten minute walk from Prestwick Town centre, where
you will find a range of shops, including two supermarkets, butcher,
newsagents, wine merchants, hairdressers, post office, travel agent,
garage/filling station, pharmacies, minicab service, banks (each with
ATM), several excellent restaurants and pubs. There is also a doctors'
surgery and a dentist.
